(5 & 6) Hera Magic Starter & CC Cream

The Magic Starter is a radiance boosting primer, and it doesn’t only help your foundation (or CC cream) glide on smoother and stay put longer, but it also gives a gorgeous brightening effect to the skin. Skin literally radiate underneath foundation. The CC Cream is fabulous and feels utterly weightless on the skin while providing a long-lasting medium coverage, and if you’re a reader of my blog you must already know it’s my all-time favorite base. It keeps the skin fresh and luminous all day long with a beautiful velvety yet dewy finish, and without clogging pores. It also contains some sexy anti-aging, moisturizing and purifying (anti-acne, balances sebum production) ingredients. Unfortunately only three shades are available, but mixed with a darker foundation or with TBS Shade Adjusting Drops you can darken it a little bit if you need to.

Hi, I’m not sure if you’re aware of this but Laneige is not cruelty-free. They sell to China, which by law requires all beauty products to be tested on animals.

      Hello Yulan,

Yes I know that. Unless a brand has the leaping bunny logo I don’t believe in their cruelty-free policy!

Hye Mi omg!!! I promise you must be like my fav beauty blogger, ily and thank you for the amazing info that you give everytime! (btw the mamonde sleeping packs are so good!)

Anyway I need your wise advice.. I’ve been desperately looking for a new (and effective!) korean mosturizer (i would prefer gel based) because I feel like my skin is normal/combination but it’s sooooo dehydrated!

What would you suggest? I’ve been thinking about the Laneige Waterbank gel thing but I’ve spent so much money on useless skincare lately (I did the mistake of trying the Klairs rich moist soothing cream in winter and it turned out to be too rich for my type of skin!) that atm I don’t really feel like experimenting new products.

    Anyway, thank you so much!!

I really like the Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream, it’s very lightweight and moisturizing. Perfect for combo to oily skin! Mamonde Rose Water Soothing Gel is also great for all skintypes, especially as a moisturizer in summer.
