I want to be completely transparent when it comes to blogging incomes.
Most of my posts contain affiliate links. Those links enable me to earn a little commission whenever my readers buy something through them.
I regularly receive free products from brands and online shops for review purposes and I get paid for that. This is what I call sponsored reviews : a brand or an online shop send me a product (of my choice, most of the time) and I write about it in exchange of a compensation – unless I don’t like it, which rarely happens since I throughously check the ingredients and infos before I accept any product. I’m well aware sponsored reviews have a bad reputation, and that a lot of bloggers do this for free, but I don’t. Like we say in France, tout travail mérite salaire. I don’t want to spend hours writing a blog post, taking pictures, editing them etc just for a free product since it will not pay the rent/bills, don’t you think so too?
That being said, any form of compensation received will never influence the content published on this blog. Even if I was paid to review a product, if I don’t like it I will state it without any hesitation. Ever since I started this blog, I’ve never published a post about a product or a brand I don’t like and use myself, and never will.
