Hera cleansers reviews : White Program Cleansing Foam & Silky Cleansing Mousse

As you may already know I’m crazy about the Korean brand Hera, therefore I had to purchase their cleansers.

HERA White Program Cleansing Foam

A brightening foam with lavish bubbles that cleanses your skin leaving it clear and smooth.
This brightening foam makes cleansing easy with its soft and lavish cushion-like foam, clearing away waste and dead skin-cells.
Its mineral-rich white clay ingredient removes waste and sebum effectively, leaving just fresh and clear skin.
The papain (papaya) enzyme capsules that burst in your hands effectively deteriorates protein, which means it effectively removes built-up dead skin cells.

It’s been around 8 months since I started using these two cleansers almost every day and I only have good things to say about them!

As a huge fan of the White Program line I had to get the cleanser. I was a little bit afraid when I purchased it since almost every single Korean cleanser with this kind of creamy texture dry out my skin, and since this cleanser is so expensive it wasn’t just a small investment. But since Hera’s products always amaze me I thought why not!

The White Program Cleansing Foam has a creamy, thick, texture and lathers pretty well. It contains red/pink microbeadsย  – papain enzymes apparently – for a gentle exfoliation. Since the microbeads are so gentle they are perfect for sensitive skin.
Once you start massaging your skin with the cleanser the microbeads burst, which is excellent since plastic microbeads are bad for the environment.

I’m absolutely not disappointed in this cleanser as it keeps its promises. It leaves my skin bright, clean, clear and fresh, reduces pores size & regulates sebum.
Since it is purifying it is perfect for all skintypes including oily ones.

Since you only need a VERY small amount for your entire face and neck this cleanser lasts a very long time. Like I said it’s been 8 months since I started using it and I still have more than half left.
Even though this cleanser is quite expensive in my opinion I find the price highly justified by the huge amount (200ml) it contains and the effectiveness of the cleanser itself.

I would say this cleanser is perfect for men and women after 20 years old with various skin troubles (dullness, hyperpigmentation, pores & sebum troubles) and with every skintypes.
The White Program Cleansing Foam is now one of my favorite cleanser of all time and I will purchase it again without a single doubt!

For who? Young adults, adults (+20)
For what? Dullness, hyperpigmentation, pores & sebum troubles
Skintypes? All! It’s perfect for sensitive/dry skins to oily skintypes.
Texture? Creamy, with small microbeads for a gentle exfoliation.

HERA Silky Cleansing Mousse

A one step mousse type cleanser that feels like fresh whipped cream lather. Removes light makeup and other debris from the skin with one use.
The micro particles penetrate deep into pores removing any lodgged debris. A single particle of Hera Silky Cleansing Mousse is only 50 micro meters in diameter so that it can reach deep into the pores.
Hera Silky Mousse contains carbonated foam that massages the skin, stimulating circulation and charging tired skin with energy.
Contains pinitol sourced from carob trees thrugh extraction that moisturizes the skin while removing excess sebum and clearing out the pres.

How to use :
When using the product for the first time shake the container for about 30 seconds before use. From the second use onward, use after 2-3 shakes.
Shake well and press the button to dispense mousse the size of a ping pong ball. Massage your (wet) face for 20 seconds with the mousse and rinse well with lukewarm water.
If you’re wearing heavy makeup use a cleansing milk or a cleansing oil before.

Isn’t the packaging of the Silky Cleansing Mousse absolutely stunning? Every time I see it in my bathroom I feel so proud!
I must admit one of the main reason I purchased this cleanser is the packaging, but who can blame me?
Another reason I wanted this cleanser is the mousse texture, I was very curious about it. I had a terrible experience with the awful Laneige Sparkling Water Cleansing Foam who also had a mousse texture but I still wanted to try the Hera anyway.

This gorgeous cleanser is part of the Cleansing Care line, and since it is the only product of this line I own for now I can’t tell if the whole line is good or not yet. My next purchase will be the cleansing oil of the same line.

The texture lives up to its name as it is a thick mousse, very soft on the skin.
It gently cleanses the skin, without drying it out, and leaves it clean and soft. I didn’t notice any effect on pores or sebum therefore this cleanser is best for dry to combination skins. Oily skins will prefer the White Program Cleansing Foam or the Purifying Cleansing Foam.

This is an excellent cleanser, I’m totally in love with it and not only because of its stunning packaging.
Another good point for this cleanser is the scent. I usually hate scents, especially chemical ones, in facial skincare products but I must say I am crazy about this one!
The scent is a little bit similar to the great-and-awesome Eau De Beaute Blossom body milk (also from Hera), it’s a very feminine and soft scent.

Another Hera product I will repurchase again without a single doubt! Love it!

Hello! Love your blog!!! I was wondering derived g if you think the Hera Silky Cleansing Mousse would be OK for sensitive skin? I am sensitive but not so much to fragrance ingredients, more to the cleansing itself.

Hi, i wanna to ask you a question
I have read somewhere that it is not good to exfoliate your face everyday especially for dry skin, but you said there are some microbeads (function as exfoliator) in hera white program cleansing foam, is it okay to use it for daily facial wash?

    • Hye Mi (author)

      Hello Julie!

It’s not good to exfoliate/scrub your face everyday with “harsh” microbeads or sugar/salt.
The Hera cleanser contains very soft microbeads, they melt with water and are very gentle even for sensitive skins. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a good cleanser for every day use, I personally use it every day and I had no problem with it!

      • Julie

Thank you so much for answering me Hye Mi :))

since most of your products recommendation works well with me, i want to give this one a try as well since i am still on the journey to find a face cleanser that works to me.

Question. Comparing the Hera white program cleansing foam tube & Laneige. Which would you recommend that doesn’t dry up your skin but Makes your skin fresh & clean?

    • Hye Mi (author)

I have a huge preference over the Hera white cleansing foam since, unlike the Laneige cleansing foams, it doesn’t dry out my skin at all!

  • Roze

    Is this a vegan product?

    • Hye Mi (author)

I don’t think it’s vegan since it contains myristic acid (Hera didn’t mention the source so even though I assume it’s a vegetable source it may be animal fat but I highly doubt it) and lactose!
