I purchased this mascara around five months ago and it instantly became a must have in my makeup bag, as it is without a doubt one of the best mascara for thin, droopy lashes like mine. What makes the Generlash so amazing is it’s 100% wateproof, and it truly doesn’t smudge or clump at all, even when applied several times. I applied four layers and no spider legs or clumps, how great is that? I also went to the swimming pool and it didn’t smudge much, maybe 10% but no more. It really keeps its promises and gives you loads of volume as if you’re wearing false eyelashes, but without the troubles of really wearing falsies. This mascara also contains nutritious ingredients to moisture, protect and help your lashes grow. The only thing I kinda dislike about it is how hard it is to remove it. Even with a powerful eye makeup remover like the Laneige’s Lip&Eye and double cleansing I still have a little bit of mascara left. It may be a little bit more expensive than the usual mascaras you might find at Sephora but it’s definitely worth the price.
If you’re looking for an elegant, long-lasting and moisturizing lipstick search no more because Rouge Holic might be everything you’ve been looking for. So far I – unfortunately – have only one shade but it was enough to make me order four more shades since I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. The shade I have is 229 Seoulista, a warm pink-coral with orange undertones.
The color is stunning, the coverage is surprisingly opaque with just one coat even on dark lips, the formula is moisturizing and non-drying which is great for dry lips like mine and the lasting power is amazing, and trust me I am more than qualified to talk about the lasting power of a lipstick since the Rouge Holic is the only lipstick in the world that last more than one or two hours on my lips. One of the main reason why I adore this lipstick so much, beside the stunning color and the stunning packaging, is even if the color faded away at the end of the day there is still a pretty coral tint left on the lips.
First of all I have to say I’m absolutely not a fan of BB creams and CC creams. Even though I find them very useful and easy to use/apply I hate how they make you look either ghostly white or grey. I had horrible experiences with most CC Creams I tried, like the one from Banila Co and the one from Tony Moly, therefore I am always suspicious about CC creams. The last one I purchased was around one or two years ago and it was the Laneige CC cream, it wasn’t very bad but it made me look extremely white and it didn’t look natural at all. My everlasting. I wear this CC very often, expect when I need a little more coverage and decide to use a foundation instead, and every single time people ask me if I’m wearing makeup or if my skin is naturally so flawless. That’s how great and natural-looking this CC is.Basically a CC is nothing more than an improved tinted moisturizer, but I find this one much better and more interesting than the others since it contains a few anti-aging, moisturizing, purifying and brightening ingredients. The coverage is slightly more on the medium, buildable side than sheer. One layer is enough to even out and brighten skintone, and two layers are perfect for brightening/covering dark circles, freckles or small imperfections. The finish is matte, surprisingly, and looks extremely natural, which makes it perfect for daily uses or for a no-makeup look.
Three shades are available : #01 Pink Beige, a very light beige with pink undertone. Perfect for pale women with cool undertones (Mac NC/NW 15) | #02 Natural Beige, a slightly darker beige with yellow/neutral undertones. Perfect for women with warm or neutral undertones. (Mac NC/NW 20 to 25) | #03 True Beige, similar to Natural Beige with neutral to yellow undertones but slightly darker. (Mac NC/NW 25 to 30)

Just like BB and CC creams cushions are the kind of products I really dislike since they emphasize my fine lines, pores and dry patches. I received this one as a gift for my birthday a few months ago and so far I am really liking it. I’m not using it very often since I prefer liquid foundations in the first place, but whenever I am too lazy to grab my beauty blender I reach for this cushion instead.I find this cushion more interesting than the others for various reasons, but the first one would be the beautiful finish. Since it blends seamlessly into the skin it looks extremely natural, yet at the same time it provides a subtitle glow that doesn’t turn matte before a few hours.I also love how it doesn’t settle into enlarged pores, fine lines, or emphasize dry patches. The Ultra Moisture Cushion lives up to its name and is very moisturizing, which makes it perfect for dry skin. Camellia oil, mineral water, hyaluronic acid and glucomannan soothe and moisture the skin while yarrow extracts remove dead skin cells and is also anti-aging.The lasting power is excellent, especially with a primer or a powder, even for oily skin. I once applied it in the morning without any skincare product under (bad idea, I know, but I was in a rush) and at the end of the afternoon it was still in place.
Attention please, I’m about to introduce you one of the best Korean foundation on the market. When it comes to foundations I’m not particularly demanding, as long as they brighten and even out my dull skin, are lightweight enough to be barely noticeable, don’t make me look cakey, don’t empathize my fine lines and don’t oxidize on my skin I’m not gonna complain. I don’t need much coverage, only to even out my skintone and cover my redness, so I prefer very lightweight liquid-type textures and the Water Supreme meets all my standards. It is quite liquidy and thin, just like MUFE Face&Body or a tinted moisturizer, and extremely lightweight. Every single time I use it I forget I have foundation on my skin that’s how weightless the Water Supreme is. The formula is so thin and so light it can be layered multiple times without looking cakey. If you use this foundation be prepared to receive tons of questions and compliments like “You’re glowing!” or “Your skin looks so good even without makeup” because the Water Supreme is totally unnoticeable on the skin.
[Available in 13 True Beige (very light with neutral undertones, mac NC15), 21N Natural Beige (light with yellow/neutral undertones, mac NC20), 21P Pink Beige (very light with pink/neutral undertones, mac NC20) and 23 Sand beige (dark beige with yellow undertones, NC25-NC30)]
Hands down to this fabulous creamy eyeliner 100% waterproof, 100% smudge-free and with amazing pigmentation. I purchased the shade Cats, an intense matte black, to replace my Perversion eyeliner by Urban Decay. This eyeliner is the very first product by 3CE I purchase and I have to say I’m totally impressed by it, and by the brand itself. It took me hours to place my order because I wanted every single shades of this eyeliner, and with the huge amount of pictures each of them have it was very difficult to pick only one since all of them are terrific.
I love how really black the color is, and most important stays black all day long. A lot of eyeliners I tried in the past turned dark grey after a few hours, or the black wasn’t as intense as I wanted it to be, but with Cats I don’t have this problem at all.
I really appreciate how really smudge-free and waterproof it is. On the left picture I tried to smudge it with my fingers after only one minute, but it didn’t move much.

After my excellent surprise with the creamy eyeliner of the same brand I decided to purchase two lips products of the same brand. Once again I wasn’t disappointed at all. The Creamy Lip Color lives up to its name and is very creamy. It contains 20% of moisturizing ingredients (olive squalane, argan oil, cupuacu butter etc) which makes it very moisturizing, almost like a lipbalm. I picked the shade Joyce, a beautiful coral-pink with orange undertones. The color is quite similar to the Hera Rouge Holic Seoulista I listed above, but a little bit more orange. The pigmentation is excellent and the coverage very opaque, with a glossy finish. The lasting power is a little less impressive than the Rouge Holic but it’s still an excellent lipstick.
Along with the lipstick I also picked a lip pencil, Jumbo, in shade Pink Smoothie. At this point I couldn’t be more delighted by it because not only it is a beautiful pink shade with warm undertones but the lasting power is so excellent it lasted all day long without budging a bit. Surprisingly it is not drying at all, and it doesn’t empathize much fine lines or dead skin cells either. I noticed a very clear difference with and without this lip pencil when applied under my lipstick : without, expect the Hera I mentioned above, every lipsticks I use last only one hour maximum. Two if I’m lucky. With this pencil my lipsticks lasts around 4 to 5 hours, sometimes more depending on which brand I use.
I’ve been loyal to the White Program line for a little more than a year now and I still clearly remember the glorious day when I opened my package with these two products inside. If I remember well they were the two very first products I purchased from Hera and they’re basically the reason why it has become my all-time favorite brand. Both are formulated to lighten dark spots & acne scars, brighten dull skin and even out uneven skintone.
Both also contain anti-aging ingredients which makes them perfect for young adults and adults. What makes this line so different than the others whitening lines available on the Korean market is that it WORKS. I’m not gonna lie and tell you it turned me into Snow White because it didn’t, especially since it isn’t its purpose, but it really brightened my face, reduced almost all my scars and redness, and most important of all it kinda reduced the yellow tinge my skin has.
I introduced this serum into my night time routine about two or three months ago and I’m extremely pleased with it. Even though it costs an arm I find it to be an excellent addition to my skincare routine as it is pretty much my only “real” anti-aging serum. It contains around 80 kinds of fermented botanical extracts to keep the skin youthful, moisturized and clear and its main purposes is to repair skin damages by free radicals and increase resilience & firmness of the skin. Another interesting thing about the ingredients is that it contains lactic acid (exfoliating and brightening) and niacinamide (brightening, whitening) and truth is I love both ingredients. After only a few uses the skin is noticeably brighter, more “plump” and firmer. I also noticed a slight reduction of small fine lines under my eyes. I find it to be an excellent lightweight and non-greasy moisturizer to fight early signs of aging. I heard it is often compared to the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence since they both contain yeasts but the Su:m37 is cheaper and I find it more effective.
Another must have from Su:m37 and it’s their extremely well-known cleansing stick. This cleanser is extremely popular among both customers and beauty bloggers due to 1) The packaging, come on who doesn’t like a travel-friendly and cute cleansing stick? 2) How effective it is, and 3) Its low pH and ingredients. I purchased it a few months ago just to see if it was worth it and since I received it Ive been using it almost every day in the shower. The packaging is obviously very practical since you just have to rub the product itself directly on your face without the troubles of squeezing it from a bottle. It contains coconut oil and apricot oil, which is why it took me so long to buy it since my skin dislike both these oils, a bunch of essential oils and glycerin. No harsh foaming agent whatsoever. I don’t know if the low pH has something to do with the results but my skin has become noticeably brighter, smoother and softer since I started using it.
If you suffer from extremely dry and extremely chapped lips all year long like I do search no more, these two products will save your lips. I tried so many lipbalms in my life I can’t even count them, from low-priced to high-priced, and none of them worked as great as these two products from Laneige. The lip sleeping mask is basically a thick, waxy-like lipbalm to use at night time and the moisturizing lipbalm is silicone-like serum. Both textures are a little odd, but it doesn’t really matter as long as they provide good results. The Vitamin C rich Berry Mix Complex (raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry extracts) gently exfoliates dry flakes & removes dead skin cells while the Moisture Wrap (hyaluronic acid) provides abundant moisture and forms a moisturizing & protective film over the lips. In the morning the lips are extremely soft, supple and smooth.
These two wash-off masks are the only ones I purchased this year, and they are sincerely the best masks I have tried in my entire life. The Rose Honey (review here) is a sleeping mask with rose oil beads and others anti-aging and moisturizing ingredients. It’s a real pleasure to see it, smell it, apply it all over the face once or twice a week. Its main purposes is to turns dull skin into glowing skin, and it does the job perfectly. Skin is also a little bit firmer in the morning. The Micro Lotus Mud mask is a wash-off clay mask formulated for combination to oily/acne-prone skin, but unlike most clay masks this one is also great for dry troubled skin. It brighten the skin, removes blackheads, tighten pores, removes wastes and impurities in pores, and also reduces sebum and pimples. Unlike the sleeping mask I mentioned above you only need to apply it about 20 minutes on your face to get a glowing, smooth and beautiful skin. If you’re looking for great-quality and really effective wash-off masks try these two ones, you won’t be disappointed.
I purchased this cleanser a few months ago and I LOVE IT. It is super gentle and perfect for all skintypes, oily and acne prone included. I absolutely adore the foam it produces because it truly feels like you’re wrapping your face with a cloud, seriously. I already tried a few foam cleanser with similar textures in the past (big, cloudy foam) but this one is definitely the best. I also love how it brighten the skin and tighten pores without being drying. It leaves the skin super soft, bright, moisturized, clear and somehow a little bit firmer. If I had to recommend only one cleanser it would be this one without a single doubt, especially since the whole Rose Water line is amazing.
Finally a truly effective product for deep, stubborn blackheads and big enlarged pores. This super serum is quite similar to Paula Choice 2% BHA Liquid but cheaper and a little bit more effective. The only bad side about it is it isn’t cruelty-free, unfortunately. Right now I’m probably one of the most qualified person to talk about the difficulties of having a blackhead-field all over the nose since it was exactly what I had on mine. I tried probably more than 100 different blackheads products in my entire life and this one, along with the Paula Choice, are the best ones on the market. In less than a week it made my super deep stubborn blackheads vanish into hell, my Texas-sized pores smaller and the weird little bumps I had on my skin disappear. This serum also contains Niacinamide (skin lightening) so it is effective for reducing acne scars a well.
▪Giovanni Smooth As Silk shampoo & conditioner
This line is great for dry, dull, frizzy hair that refuses to be tamed. I heard a lot of people usually go for the Kerastase Nutritive when it comes to thick, dry hair but I find the Smooth As Silk 100 times more effective and obviously cheaper than the Kerastase. I love how both the shampoo and conditioner make my hair super shiny, super soft and smooth. The problem when you have long, super thick hair like me is that it’s super hard to keep them brushed, soft and shiny. Fortunately I no longer have that kind of troubles since I switched to the Smooth As Silk line, and the great boost of silky sheen these products give me are what makes me love them even more. Giovanni is without a doubt one of the best brand for haircare, and the best part is that it’s cruelty-free.
▪Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum & Straight Works Cream
These two great products made my hair routine so very much easier. My hair takes ages to air dry, and if I don’t use a straightener it pretty much looks like Rubeus Hagrid, so I’m always looking for lightweight leave-in conditioners that would tame my thick, frizzy hair. The Straight Works cream is very lightweight leave-on cream for hair that maximize softness, manageability and shine while the Skinny Serum smoothes, conditions and seals strands, leaving hair silky, shiny and frizz-free in any weather. I find the Skinny Serum kinda similar to Kerastase Elixir Ultime, but once again I prefer the PM over the Kerastase. Since both products are very lightweight they make my hair feel really soft and silky but without weighing it down.
▪ TV show : Magnificent Century. This is my very first Turkish tv show and I am totally crazy about it. I enjoyed this show so very much it seriously made me want to learn Turkish. The story is about Suleiman The Magnificent, the tenth and most famous Great Sultan of Ottoman Empire, and his concubine Hurrem. I find amazing how a simple Ukrainian slave managed to become Sultan herself, avoiding the traps of her enemies and believing only in her own power. This show is so intense be prepared to watch at least 5 episodes in one night. The dresses and the makeup are also outstanding, which makes the show even more enjoyable. PS : You can find the episodes with English subtitles on youtube.
▪ Books : Sleep Tight by Rachel Abott & Think Of A Number by John Verdon
When obsession takes over. Sleep Tight is one of the best thriller I have read this year, and truth is I’ve read it only in one night because to say “you can’t put this book down” is an understatement at best. Rachel Abbot is an extremely talented writer, and she sure knows the mind and behavior of a stalker.”When Olivia Brookes calls the police to report that her husband and children are missing, she believes she will never see them again. She has reason to fear the worst; this isn’t the first tragedy that Olivia has experienced. Now, two years later, Detective Chief Inspector Tom Douglas is called in to investigate this family again, but this time it’s Olivia and the children who have mysteriously disappeared.” Grab your kindle and buy it, now.
Think of a number is by far one the most intriguing and terrifying thriller I have read in my life.”Arriving in the mail over a period of weeks are taunting letters that end with a simple declaration, “Think of any number…picture it…now see how well I know your secrets.” Amazingly, those who comply find that the letter writer has predicted their random choice exactly. For Dave Gurney, just retired as the NYPD’s top homicide investigator and forging a new life with his wife, Madeleine, in upstate New York, the letters are oddities that begin as a diverting puzzle but quickly ignite a massive serial murder investigation.”According to the reviews online the ending was somehow predictable but I can tell you I was like “HOLY S*IT!” until the end, it’s an excellent mystery novel and I very much enjoyed following leads with the main character as he solves the terrifying puzzle of these murders.
