Mamonde Rose Honey Sleeping Pack review

Mamonde Rose Honey Sleeping Mask contains anti-aging , brightening and moisturizing ingredients.

A few months ago Mamonde released two new sleeping packs for their Spring/Summer 2015 collection : the Rose Honey Sleeping Pack (Anti-aging) and the Jasmin Honey Sleeping Pack (Brightening).

I hesitated a lot between the two and I finally ended up buying the Rose Honey version, since I have so much brightening & whitening products already & the rose beads inside and the pink packaging were very convincing.

The lightweight gel texture of this sleeping pack goes on smoothly for a barely-there feel. It dries very quickly and isn’t sticky.
The rose oil beads melts immediately after massaging them and deliver a rich rose-scented moisturizing oil (Rosa Canina flower oil) ; it leaves a very thin oily-film on your skin before it completely dries. I usually strongly dislike having oil on my face but this time it isn’t unpleasant as it gives a very moisturizing and soothing effect.

Ingredient list (found on

This mask is silicone-free and contains a lot of interesting ingredients.

▪Rose extract : anti-aging, moisturizing, soothing, firming, reduces scars and spots.
▪Rosa Canina oil : diminishes scars, is anti-aging, lightens pigmentation/sun spots, moisture the skin, strong source of vitamin C.
▪Honey : antioxidant, anti-aging, antibacterial, anti-acne, skin brightening, moisturizing.
▪False Daisy extract : anti-inflammatory, reduces redness, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, moisturizing, antioxidant, anti-aging.
▪Moringa Seed Oil : softens dry skin, maintains moisture in the skin, brighten dull skin, rejuvenates dull skin, anti-aging, improves appearance of wrinkles and prevents sagging, helps reduce fine lines and repair damaged skin cells.
▪Sweet Orange Essential Oil : soothes dry & irritated skin, promotes production of collagen, anti-acne.
▪Lavender Essential Oil : anti-bacterial, anti-acne, anti-aging.
▪Green Tea : reduces sign of aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory.
▪Scared Lotus Extract : antioxidant, skin conditioner, very moisturizing, increases skin elasticity, erases fine lines, lighten sun/hyperpigmentation spots, prevents acne and breakouts, balances oily skin.

In the morning the skin is brighter, more supple, luminous, moisturized and fine lines are a little bit reduced. The thin oil film has disappeared, absorbed by the skin.
It’s a pleasure to use this mask and to wake up with a clear, radiant skin!

The Mamonde Rose Honey Sleeping Mask is an excellent moisturizing mask everyone should try at least once. It’s a delight to use and the results you get from using it are worth it.
It only costs about 20$ so I strongly recommend it. Mamonde makes excellent facial masks (such as the great Lotus Micro Mud mask) and I’m already planning to buy the Jasmin Honey version.

Hello I was just wondering have you tried the Laniege sleeping mask pack?? How would you compare this Mamonde to the Laniege one? I have been wanting to try out a sleeping mask but couldn’t decide on which one to buy. Btw I’m in my teens :)) thanks in advance anyway !!

Yes I have tried the Laneige sleeping mask, in fact I have it. I like the Mamonde best, because the Laneige only moisture my skin while the Mamonde also brighten it. 🙂

Wow… nice tips for honey. Honey also has natural antioxidant and antimicrobial properties which help to protect the skin or hair from the damaging. I always use annimateo macadamia silk honey hair conditioner in my hair. It is very useful for us. Thank you for sharing with us.

I have oily skin and post-acne red marks, so which one is the best to use between the Rose and Jasmine? I’m still a teen (17, to be specific) so I don’t think I’m in the age to use anti-aging products. However I heard that everyone loves the Rose rather than Jasmine.

Love to hear your answer, thanks!

      Hello Erine,

I love both immensely! The Rose Honey contains anti-aging ingredients but also moisturizing ingredients so even if you’re only 17 you can use it, it’s just a mask. 😉 The Jasmine Honey is more moisturizing & a little bit richer, it also contains brightening ingredients. If I had to pick only one I would go with the Rose Honey.

I love to read beauty product reviews before I buy and use some product. I use natural products with essential oils. To treat signs of aging on my skin this will be perfect. Thanks for sharing.

This is such a lovely product it seems. I would love to try the Rose version, too, since I love rose products generally 😀
