12 Korean skincare products for people in their late twenties

These 12 Korean skincare gems will prevent and minimize fine lines and lack of hydration.

Heimish All Clean Balm

Double cleansing with a cleansing oil is the quickest and most efficient way of removing stubborn waterproof makeup in a matter of minutes and without irritating the skin. This cleansing balm is cheap, but feels like a spa treatment packed into a jar. The formula works with Shea Butter, Donkey Milk and Plants extracts to remove everything, expect hydration and moisture.

Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

This luxurious low pH mild exfoliating cleanser is formulated with 90% natural ingredients, inlaid with rose petals and offers gentle cleansing with absolutely no stickiness or residue left behind – and, importantly for us sensitive types, no irritation. It leaves the skin thoroughly cleansed, soft and supple with a great hydrated glow all while banishing excess oil from those problematic areas. While Coconut and Olive oils can be two acne-triggering ingredients, I received nothing but positive feedback from acquaintances with oily and problematic skin types.
The unique twist-up tube is very travel-friendly and a great advantage if, like me, you always have to deal with spills in your gym or travel bag. Read the full review of this luxurious cleanser here

Son & Park Beauty Water

Created by two popular makeup artists, this immensely popular multi-tasking product has garnered thousands of positive consumer feedback and is a cult favorite among beauty bloggers and makeup artists. It works as a cleansing water and as a mild exfoliating toner to smoothe rough skin’s texture, brighten dull complexion, refresh skin throughout the day and prep skin before skincare and makeup.

Hera Cell-Essence

Immensely popular among celebrities, makeup artists and bloggers, this wonderful product is like magic in a bottle. This multi-benefits essence revive dull skintone, smooths rough skin and exfoliates dead skin cells, moisturizes and soothes irritated skin, reduces skin’s sensitivity & redness, strengthen skin’s barrier, plumps & firm tired saggy skin, and balances sebum production. The formula works with sugars (for their water-binding properties), peptides (anti-oxidants), adenosine (anti-aging, anti-inflammatory), amino acids (anti-oxidant), niacinamide (skin-lightening, anti-aging), moisturizing plant-extracts and more.

Su:m37 Secret Programming Essence

This carefully crafted essence is formulated with 80 kinds of yeasts, good bacterias and fermented plant extracts to combat signs of aging as well as  dehydration and lack of luminosity. Sounds disgusting but the acids and yeasts are what make the magic happen. Skin looks firmer, brighter and moisturized upon the first application. It is the perfect dupe of the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence.

Banila Co Miss Flower & Mr Honey Essence Oil

Facial oils are packed with potent antioxidants and have many excellent skincare benefits : they nourish the skin with intense moisture, brighten dull complexion and most importantly minimize fine lines. The formula of the Banila Co works with Niacinamide to brighten and firm the skin, while Royal Jelly Extract, Propolis Extract and Honey Extract (along with many plant extracts & oils) moisturize and nourish the skin.

Hera White Program Biogenic Effector

I recently shared a full review of this incredible serum here, yet I can’t help but give it another mention. This little gem delivers what we all want : a firmer, brighter complexion, with soft, smooth skin. The impressive formula moisturizes the skin, reduces hyperpigmentation, discoloration and freckles, tones down the yellow tinge in Asian skin, and brightens the skin like no other product. It also has anti-aging properties! You can see why I am in love with it. If I had to keep only one beauty product it would be, without a single doubt, this one.
As a wholehearted fan of the wonderful skin-lightening properties of Niacinamide, and knowing as well as I do Hera’s extraordinary abilities to create outstanding products, I can’t recommend the Biogenic Effector enough, despite the eye-watering pricetag. Su:m37 Water-full Aqua Sleeping Pack

While everyone is hooked on the Laneige Water Bank Sleeping Pack, I find the Su:m37 even more moisturizing, brightening and firming. It’s a little expensive, but the glowy and baby soft skin morning results are totally worth it.

Blossom Jeju Pink Camellia Soombi Blooming Cream

Housed in a sumptuous sturdy white and pink glass jar, this divine moisturizer is a rich, seriously hydrating and nourishing moisturizer perfect for those of us with dry to normal skin. It contains a blend of emollient dry skin pleasing ingredients such as Camellia Oil, Plant-devired Squalane, Camellia Flower Extract, and even Niacinamide & Licorice Root Extract (two superstars among skin-brightening/lightening ingredients) which work to repair the skin’s barrier, brighten dull skin, even out uneven complexion, minimize dark spots, minimize & prevent irritation, and prevent moisture loss. The ingredients will assuredly benefit those who, like me, need serious extra moisture and intense hydration. Although those with oily skin will probably dislike the rich, heavy texture of it as a daytime moisturizer, they will however certainly enjoy it as an overnight skin treatment as a rich nighttime moisturizer is an optimal way to replenish and give oily skin the nourishment and intense hydration it craves throughout the day. The formula contains some nice moisturizing, firming and brightening ingredients.
